CMC are looking for a Project Planner to work with our partner client, who are an M&E specialist contractor, on a variety of transmission and distribution projects including substation. The right candidate will be an experienced planner that has worked on similar projects, working with subcontractors/M&E for example. Candidates must have strong primavera p6 experience but also wider capabilities within project planning, such as managing the labour a cost schedules, experience with challenging stakeholders, changing scopes etc. This will be for an initial 12 months, on a rolling contract, based in Glasgow (on site).

Your core duties/background/skills will include:

Excellent attention to detail, resilience and ability to build relationships
Strong P6 skills
Trade experience is desirable
Specialist M&E/sub-contractor experience
Previous involvement in the project - managing teams, challenging stakeholders, changing scope and challenging schedule.
Preparing look aheads for the site teams
Ensure any deviations from the programme are all documented and the site teams informed of any impact
Attend coordination meetings and contribute - giving emphasis on the programme
Monitor any risks against the programme - delivery dates, weather delays, material delays etc.
Managing labour and cost schedules
Experience working with an M&E subcontractor
