This is a great opportunity to work within the Platform Engineering Team of one of the UK's leaders in commodities trading as they place existing applications into CI/CD pipelines.
One of the main responsibilities of this role is to install and automate Legacy applications onto an on-premises platform. You will collaborate with teams within the wider business to deploy and manage systems, help automate and streamline processes, and troubleshoot issues within multiple environments. You will also work with DevOps skilled resources to create CI/CD pipelines, manage, monitor and automate the company infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
Continuously build and test code with Scripting and programming languages
Manage, track and document changes to code with source control tools
Assist in the DevOps space and help out on BAU Application Support
Deploy applications via automation with configuration management tools
Measure performance of environments and applications with system and application log tools
Linux/Windows administration and Scripting
Key experience required:
2-5 years IT industry experience within a highly regulated environment
Strong exposure to infrastructure
Kafka
CI/CD implementation
Git, Bitbucket
Linux
Windows 10
Working knowledge of infrastructure as code and configuration management of Ansible tower
