Are you looking for an opportunity to work with more interesting and complex products? As part of a company of around 50 people, youll be part of a close-knit NPD team. They are responsible for the design and delivery of countertop scientific products used in research globally.
The team really enjoy the environment, some have been there for years, and some have joined in the last 5. But with an exciting product roadmap to be delivered of the next 3-5 years, they are looking to bring in an additional Electronics Design Engineer.
The Electronics Design Engineer will be responsible for the design, development and testing of electronics and software across a portfolio of interesting products. You will:
* Work as part of the NPD team to design and develop electronic solutions.
* Liaise with the sales team and with customers to define user interface needs.
* Design both analogue and digital electronic systems.
* Defect analysis, debugging and problem-solving.
* Integration and testing of electronics and software with mechanical hardware.
The Candidate: Electronic Design Engineer
You will consider yourself to have strong electronic design skills, be confident in voicing your opinion and ideas, and will also have:
* Degree or HND in Electronics or Electrical Engineering or a similar discipline.
* Practical experience in developing analogue and digital electronics, including PCB design.
* Some programming experience using embedded C, C++ or QML.
To be commutable to the office, you will live in or near one of the following locations: Lewes, Eastbourne, Brighton, Bexhill, Uckfield, Hailsham or Laughton
