Chase Taylor Recruitment are currently working on an opportunity for a large UK window and door manufacturing company. They are looking to recruit a window and door service engineer who has experience in the commercial sector, to join their team and help with the demand of the market.

Our client is one of the UKs largest UPVC window and door manufacturers that are known for their excellent products and outstanding customer experience.

The role:

* To be responsible for resolving manufacturing or fitting issues with our windows, doors, composite doors, patios and bi folds;

* To provide excellent customer service;

* To provide written documentation of the outcome of the service call detailing if a second visit is required;

* To be responsible for ensuring quality work is always carried out;

* To support Customer Services to assist with resolving production issues as and when required.

The candidate:

* Have current or previous experience as service engineer or fitter within the commercial sector

* The ability to fit any miscellaneous hardware or fittings that may be required such as handles, hinges, glazing, letterboxes etc;

* Excellent product knowledge with good problem-solving skills and the ability to identify cost efficient solutions to problems;

* Good customer service skills with the ability to apply a calm and polite approach when dealing with dissatisfied customers;

* A full clean UK driving license

* Self-motivated with a can-do attitude
