Job Description:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join our team in Shrewsbury. The Project Coordinator will play a key role in supporting the successful execution of projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
Responsibilities:
* Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
* Coordinate project activities, including scheduling, resource allocation, and task assignments, to ensure timely delivery and meet project objectives.
* Prepare project plans, timelines, and budgets, and monitor progress against milestones and targets.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, and operations, to ensure alignment and effective communication.
* Conduct regular project meetings and provide updates to stakeholders on project status, risks, and issues, and facilitate problem-solving and decision-making as needed.
* Manage documentation and record-keeping related to projects, including contracts, change orders, and project files.
* Assist with procurement activities, including sourcing and purchasing materials and equipment, negotiating contracts, and managing vendor relationships.
* Support project invoicing and billing processes, ensuring accuracy and timely submission of invoices to clients.
* Conduct post-project reviews and lessons learned sessions to identify areas for improvement and best practices for future projects.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field; PMP certification is a plus.
* Proven experience (3+ years) in project coordination or management, preferably in a technical or engineering environment.
* Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
* Proficiency in project management tools and software, such as MS Project, Asana, or Trello.
* Knowledge of engineering principles and terminology, with the ability to understand technical requirements and specifications.
* Detail-oriented and analytical, with a problem-solving mindset and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
* Willingness to travel occasionally to project sites and client locations, as required.
