Design Engineer Required!

Established during the 1960s, my client specialises in the manufacturer of blow moulds and blow moulding machinery and equipment for multiple industries including CSD & Water, cosmetics, household products and automotive parts. Due to ongoing success, they are looking to recruit an experienced Design Engineer to join their team.

(Design Engineer) - Position Overview

Develop and design precision parts and components according to specifications.
Collaborate with clients to fully understand their requirements, providing innovative design solutions.
Utilise CAD software to create accurate and detailed designs (2D + 3D)
Work closely with various departments including production to ensure seamless transition from design to production.
Adhere to quality standards and regulatory requirements.(Design Engineer) - Position Requirements

Relevant qualification in Mechanical Engineering or related field
Previous experience in a similar role
Experience using CAD software (SolidWorks, Autodesk, AutoCAD).
Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and client requirements.
Effective communication and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Familiarity with quality standards
Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritise tasks effectively.(Design Engineer) - Position Remuneration

Monday - Friday position (37.5 working hours)
Overtime available

20 days holiday + bank
Salary of £30,000 to £35,000 depending on skills & experience
