General Handyman

Location: Nottingham

Salary: £25,000

Overview:

First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a General Handyman on behalf of one of our clients.

Our client encourages applications from ex-military personnel however all candidates will be given due consideration.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Attending private rented dwellings to complete requested repairs and maintenance.
Initially accompanying an experienced member of staff.
A typical day might include wet plumbing, painting, lifting & moving furniture, simple joinery and gardening.
The job is varied and interesting.

Skills and Qualifications:

Full UK Driving Licence.
Proven property services experience & knowledge of building maintenance issues.
Trade qualifications desirable but not essential.
First Aider at work qualification is desirable.
Must be a team player, and work will solo as well as in a team.
Physically fit.

Benefits:

Company vehicle after a qualifying period.
20 days holiday + bank holidays (increases with service).

Salary dependent on skill set but will always be higher than the National Minimum Wage.
