We're on the lookout for a Cable & PCB Assembler to join our well-established client based in Loughborough.

Pay:

£11.95 - £12.85 per hour based on 37.5 hours per week. Overtime is paid after 37.5.

About the role:

As a Cable & PCB Assembler, you will be responsible for:

Follow customer electrical diagrams/schematics for correct installation of components.
Follow proper solder procedure to ensure quality of the finished product.
Populating/soldering printed circuit boards.
Soldering PCBs.
Operating the flow solder.
Conformal coating of PCBs.
Wiring harness and looms, using the following techniques.
Soldering.
Wire/cable termination.
Wire preparation.
Free-hand wiring.
Construction of mechanical assemblies/box builds.
Inspection to customer specifications and IPC standards.
Completing all required documentation as required, including paperwork and information recorded on computers.
Adhere to all relevant policies and procedures.

Hours:

Monday Thursday 07:00 15:30
Friday 07:00 12:30

About You/Requirements:

Knowledge of anti-static precautions.
Ability to understand drawings.
Knowledge of soldering.
Knowledge of cable assemble including, crimping, soldering of wires/connectors.
Experience in the assembly of electronic printed circuit boards (PCBs) and sub-assemblies.
Good organisation skills.
Great attention to detail.
Motivation to ensure excellent quality standards.
Excellent communication and team working skills as well as the ability to work independently.
