We are looking to add to our successful team and would like to hear from experienced Engineering Managers.
You will have a minimum of 5 years experience within Engineering Design and project delivery, management and it's entirety.
This role is full time and permanent. Your base will predominantly be at our head office in West Yorkshire. However there is scope for hybrid working. Please note this role does not offer Tier 2 Visa Sponsorship and you must have original evidence of UK Proof of Right to Work.
Responsibilities:
* Responsible for implementation of engineering and process design and the co-ordination of engineering resources required to achieve successful contract completion.
* Responsible for ensuring departmental competency and resource is sufficient for forecasted workload.
* Preparation of TSD quotations and responsible for managing contract budgets upon award.
* Engineering and technical liaison; representation at site meetings with sub-contractors, clients and potential clients.
* Design of boiler and waste heat recovery systems together with appropriate steam/water pipework systems.
* Preparation of technical specifications for a wide range of steam/water system and process ancillaries.
* Assisting the Proposals Department with the preparation of tenders for boiler plant, thermal process, spares, repairs and upgrades.
* Technical support for Operations and other business units.
* Coordination and assistance with any commissioning processes with respect to plant performance and measurement of design/test data. Preparation of appropriate test protocols, data interpretation and subsequent process calculations. Assistance with preparation of relevant sections of Operating and Maintenance Manuals.
* Oversee the creation, control and enforcement of Company design standards and design studies.
* Ensure departmental work is in accordance with Company IMS Procedures.
You will be qualified in
Chartered in an applicable institution or working towards (MCMI, MIMechE etc.). Engineering Degree (or equivalent)
IT experience is essential in AutoCAD, pipe stress analysis (PSA5, CAESER etc.), Inventor and Microsoft applications.
Hold a full UK Driving licence and access to transport as site attendance is essential.
