Amber Mace are recruiting on behalf of a privately owned care home based in Cardiff, who is committed to delivering exceptional care to the residents. As the Care Home Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the daily operations of our care home in Cardiff. You will lead a team of dedicated caregivers, ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
-Leadership and Management: Provide strong leadership to the care team, ensuring all staff members are motivated, well-trained, and aligned with the company's mission and values.
-Quality Assurance: Monitor and maintain the highest quality of care, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and company policies.
-Resident Well-being: Promote a nurturing environment that caters to the physical, emotional, and social needs of our residents, respecting their individual preferences and maintaining their dignity.
-Budget Management: Effectively manage the budget, controlling expenses while delivering top-notch care services.
-Staff Development: Support the professional growth and development of team members through training, mentorship, and performance evaluations.
-Communication: Foster open and transparent communication channels with residents, their families, and staff members, addressing any concerns promptly and effectively.
Requirements:
-Proven experience in a managerial role within a care home or similar healthcare setting.
-NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care
-Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance within the care sector.
-Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
-Empathy, compassion, and a genuine commitment to improving the lives of our residents.
-Relevant qualifications in healthcare management or a related field are desirable.
