Job Title: HGV Class 1 Driver
Location: Northfleet
Salary: £18 per hour standard 40hrs + overtime £21 per hour on temporary, £19 per hour standard 40hrs + time and half on overtime once permanent.
Hours: Flexible night shifts starting from 1pm or 7pm, while training 6am - 2pm Monday to Friday.

Duties:

* Safely operate and drive HGV Class 1 vehicles in compliance with road traffic regulations

* Transport corrugated cardboard products to various destinations efficiently and on time

* Load and unload goods using appropriate equipment, ensuring proper securing and handling

* Conduct vehicle checks and report any defects or maintenance requirements promptly

* Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and hours of service

Requirements:

* Valid HGV Class 1 driving license and full CPC qualification

* Proven experience as an HGV Class 1 Driver, preferably in a similar industry

* Must be reliable

* Strong understanding of road safety regulations and traffic laws

* Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing schedules and shift patterns

* Excellent communication skills and a customer-oriented approach
