Our client is looking for a Maintenance Manager to keep all day to day affairs of their private Estate running smoothly and stress free for the Employer and to ensure that the property is maintained to a very high standard.
Working Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm, this includes overseeing and or undertaking:
1. Manage the repair and maintenance of the buildings, grounds, fixtures and equipment in the estate. Ensuring buildings & grounds are kept safe, tidy and in good order. This includes cleaning of all exterior steps, pathways, windows and doors (including stables). CCTV cameras
2. Ensuring all systems are in compliant working conditions.
3. Vehicle maintenance, MOT & service scheduling and ensuring they are kept clean and tidy and topped up with fuel.
4. Household fuel checked and ordered when required (Gas & Oil)
5. Daily checking of estate perimeter including fencing.
6. Keyholder for security & fire
7. Responsible for staff recruitment within the maintenance team
8. Supervision and time control
9. Organising, controlling and overseeing maintenance contractors
10. Assisting employer with upgrading systems including I.T, telephone and security.
11. Hall expense budgetary control
12. Responsibility for cars and garden machinery
13. Estate administration
14. All aspects of security
15. Maintenance of Off-site ancillary staff accommodation.
Occasional short-term travel to Employers' other properties.
Reporting weekly by email, summarizing weeks' activities and identifying any issues which you consider should be brought to the attention of your Manager, including breakages however caused and any repairs or maintenance required (water damage, machinery operation, cracks, etc.)
IT literate with basic skills in Word, Excl and Outlook
