A Product Owner is required for a successful UK company, to join their team on a permanent, full -time basis. This digital, IT Product Owner role is for a skilled and creative Product Owner, to be a key player in delivering new and innovative digital products for our clients customers. This company constantly evolves and adapts its products to diversify for the markets, offering a brilliant career path and many developments.
As a Product Owner, you will translate the product vision, goals and strategy into high-quality products. You will collaborate with the Product Manager in the product discovery process. MVP, lead research activities, and translate findings into product specs. You'll also prototype, execute, refine, coordinate design, provide support, and be part of the launch and post-launch process.
Key responsibilities:
* Actively lead product discovery during early product stages. Identify market opportunities and user needs, generate and refine ideas, and validate hypotheses.
* Analyse data using internal tools. Use dashboards and reports to identify product and feature opportunities and user needs
* Translating product vision and strategy, leading discussions within the development team to define and maintain architecture, security, quality and reduce technical debts.
* Collaboration with the cross-functional team and conducting agile ceremonies.
* Conduct ideation workshops and market research and customer research.
* Create User Stories and acceptance criteria, creating product specifications and prototypes.
* Be the voice of the customer, user-centered approach within the product team, ensuring consistency across the product.
* Breaking down initiatives into epics, prioritising and managing trade-offs.
* Product Backlog management.
* Full consultative approach with colleagues and stakeholders, both through Agile and direct communication.
* Wireframing and rapid prototyping.
* Contribute to the Roadmap from a tactical perspective.
* Continuous improvement and post-launch support and analysis.
You will have :
* Experience as Product Owner, with digital products.
* Experience in leading customer facing digital products from concept to adoption, with experience in different product lifecycle stages
* Working knowledge of digital product development architecture
* Experience in workflow management like Azure DevOps, Jira or similar
* Ability to break down vision and strategy to release plans and align with the MVP.
* Outstanding communication skills for stakeholder management and team leadership.
* Ideally a degree or certification in IT.
The details :
This is a remote, full time, employed role, working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday. Whilst the role is remote, you have to be live in the UK for client and colleague meetings. You may need to travel to Cardiff bi-monthly.
The salary on offer is up to £52,500 dependant on experience and there is a host of company benefits on top including pension, plus 25 days holidays plus stats, health scheme for the likes of dental and optical, free parking, numerous company events, clear career development and support.
