A leading client within the Utilities industry is undergoing significant expansion and are now looking for an experienced Testing Electrician to join the team on a permanent basis.

On offer is a salary of up to £39,000 plus vehicle and benefits.

Key duties:

* Carry out electrical test and inspection on Water sites

* Carry out Electrical remedial works to BS7671

* Ensure that any unsafe electrical installations are managed safely and professionally in order to minimise risk to staff and the establishment, identifying the problem and taking remedial action as required

* Complete all relevant testing paperwork to a high standard

* Carry out installation, service, and repair to variety of low voltage electrical control systems

* Occasionally may be asked to take charge of a working party and be responsible for lesser skilled employees, therefore they should be able to demonstrate a sound knowledge of Health & Safety issues and leadership skills

Requirments:

* Full electrical apprenticeship or qualifications

* 18th Edition Wiring regulations

* Testing Qualifications

* ECS Gold Card

* Full Driving License

* Flexible approach

* Ability to organise and manage time effectively

* Good written and verbal communication skills

* A high level of PC Skills

* Ability to work well alone as well as with other teams within the company

* Water industry experience preferred but not essential
