Established boutique Promotional Products manufacturer that supplies exclusively to Trade resellers, seeks an astute & experienced Production Manager with a proven depth of Screen & Digital Print experience, to lead, enhance and evolve the their well invested production facility based in Lancashire as part of its continued business growth strategy.
As a proven Production Manager you will have a clearly demonstrable track record of impact & success in driving enhanced manufacturing techniques and efficiencies, through a comprehensive understanding & working experience within the Screen & Digital Print production arena.
Working closely alongside the Managing Director, you will harmonise & evolve an enhanced production capability, focussing on the specification & utilisation of their current screen & digital print technology, alongside a vision for developing their wider market capabilities. You will have full responsibility for the day to day management of a diverse team of Studio, Print production & specialist Finishing personnel, so it is critical that you have a demonstrably broad experience of all matters Screen print as your knowledge, experience, advice and day to day hands on practical production management skills will have a profound impact on this Business plans for effectiveness, expansion & productive development.
In a role that truly engages with the four key areas of Production in the Business, you will have full responsibility for managing staffing levels & resource allocation,, developing and enhancing the day to day productivity, efficiency & profitability of their diverse manufacturing capability in a challenging, demanding & highly rewarding remit, that will also encompass responsibility for H&S, Quality & a drive towards meeting their Sustainability goals & targets.

* You must possess the depth & breadth of specialist Screen & Digital Print manufacturing knowledge that will immediately command the respect of a committed & long serving workforce
* A strong, focussed yet empathetic leader of a diversely skilled manufacturing team, possessing an energy & enthusiasm that immediately engages all around you.
* A skilled & effective communicator at all levels, from the Boardroom table to shop floor
* Analytical, accustomed to drilling & defining key manufacturing performance data to utilise at the core of process manufacturing enhancements
* You will possess an inquisitive, insightful & never satisfied mind in the pursuit of enhanced quality, efficiency & increased profitable performance
* Highly numerate & literate, with an ability to detect trends, foresee problems & visualise solutions as part of the Senior team responsible for the delivery of onward excellence
* You must be committed to the training, development, enhancement & wellbeing of your staff, delivering assessments & ongoing skills development as part of building an empowered & effective manufacturing team
