What you will get to work on

Provide visible front-line engagement with supervisors, field force, customers, and key stakeholders.
Maintain a high level of staff moral and motivation, ensuring that sickness and absenteeism is minimised, and low-level disciplinary procedures are followed for direct reports, in compliance with company HR policy.
Ensure that workplace inspections are carried out to demonstrate compliance with the required standards/company procedures.
Be responsible for ensuring all workloads are achieved, whilst reducing costs by effectively managing all resources and improving productivity. Implement and support Performance Improvement Plans where required.
Foster the development of SHEQS within Operations line management and act as the lead source of expertise on SHEQS matters.
Ensure that permit requirements are prepared and authorised in a timely manner in accordance with safe control of operations procedures, holding both Authorising Engineer and Competent Person status as required.

Who we are looking for

HNC / GNO2 or equivalent engineering qualification
Membership of relevant grade within IGEM
SCO 1/2/4 Authorising Engineer
Energy Operations operational & standby experience
EL/6 authorisation
Safety qualification (such as NEBOSH, IOSH Certificate)
