A highly sought-after opportunity to work with the UKs leading commercial shopfitting company. Having been established for over 20 years they pride themselves on the quality of their work and have established a reputation for their high-quality projects from conception through to completion within the retail, hospitality and leisure sectors.
Due to a couple of staff retiring after having long illustrious careers with my client they now have opening for a new Senior CAD Technician.
You will have the opportunity to work a variety of projects ranging from £5,000 - £3M with a number of well-known clients within the pub and restaurant industry.
The Duties
You will have a team on CAD technicians reporting directly to you and will work closely with the production team.
* Managing the outputs and quality of the existing CAD Team.
* Provide technical support and solutions
* Oversee the implementation of CAD software tools
* Collaborate with managers and design teams to understand project requirements
* Attend project meetings when necessary
* Stay informed about the latest advancements in CAD technology
* Conduct regular reviews to ensure accuracy and compliance with standards
* Establish and enforce CAD standards and best practices
* Develop and maintain positive relations with clients
* Overseeing the drawing production and allocating work.
* Producing fully coordinated building services drawings.
* Identifying resource requirements and be responsible for growing the CAD Team.
* The role will be a mix of drawing production role and quality management.
The Requirements
* Be experienced in working on bar and restaurant fit out projects.
* Be experienced in AUTOCAD.
* Have knowledge of CDM regulations and responsibilities.
* Take overall responsibility for the general running of the draughting element of the project worked on.
* Have an excellent understanding of the scope and requirements of each bespoke project.
* Management experience
* Have excellent organisational and time management skills.
* Be capable and willing to follow procedures.
* Have excellent communication skills, able to communicate both verbally and in writing with a variety of personnel.
Whats in it for you?
* £40,000 - £50,000 (depending on experience).
