Site Manager Restaurant & Bar Fit-Out

£22.50 per hour

Huddersfield - Nationwide Travel Required

A highly sought-after opportunity to work with the UKs leading commercial shopfitting company. Having been established for over 20 years they pride themselves on the quality of their work and have established a reputation for their high-quality projects from conception through to completion within the retail, hospitality and leisure sectors.

Due to a couple of staff retiring after having long illustrious careers with my client they now have opening for three new Site Managers.

You will have the opportunity to work a variety of projects ranging from £5,000 - £3M which typically last between 8-10weeks with a number of well-known clients within the pub and restaurant industry.

This position will require working nationwide, however a van if supplied along with a TAX-FREE daily staying away allowance of £65.

The typical working day will be around 12 hours and may include working on weekends.

A Christmas profit based bonus can be earned which typically is between £2,000 and £4,000.

The Duties

* The planning & implementation of continuous site logistics.

* Reading & understanding of construction drawings.

* The ability to motivate & lead a team but also work independently.

* Fulfilling accountabilities within the Health & Safety Plan.

* Managing the issue of construction information.

* Manage sub-contractors on site to work safely & economically, by co-ordination of all trades.

* Manage direct site labour & maintain accurate records.

The Requirements

* Proven experience of previous bar & restaurant fit out projects.

* Hold a qualification in construction management or in the process of obtaining construction management qualification.

* Hold valid CSCS.

* Willing to work away when required.

* IT literate with Microsoft Excel & Outlook.

* An excellent work ethic and attitude.
