The Project
As an experienced Project Quantity Surveyor, you will work alongside a team of industry experts and collaborate with commercial professionals on new build/ refurbishment projects up to £30m across various core sectors such as education, healthcare, commercial and leisure.
Requirements
For this role it is essential that you carry the following skills as a minimum;

Analytical and Mathematical skills
Excellent sales and presentation skills
Ability to multitask and prioritise projects
Strong communication and attention to details
Understanding of construction laws and regulations
The ability to accurately estimate the costs associated with the project
A solid understanding of construction materials, methods, and techniquesIt is also essential that you hold the experience below;

Job Title: Project Quantity Surveyor
Job Type: Permanent
Location: Manchester
Project: £30m - Various new build/refurbishment healthcare, education, commercial and leisure projects
Reporting to: Commercial ManagerDuties
Analysis of tender allowances
Preparing material reconciliations
Cash management and maximization
Reporting directly to a Senior Quantity Surveyor
Preparing and submitting material delivery sheets
Preparation and administration of procurement advice, tenders and tender reviews
Participate in the recording of delays & preparation of any request for extensions of time
Generate/maintain relevant records, accurate filing and support for all commercial functions
Build & maintain sustainable and productive relationships with existing clients and subcontractors
Ensure deadlines are actively managed and progress is reported to supervisors as required
Measurement and valuation of works (on site and from drawings) for valuations & variations as directed by line manager
Assisting in preparation of financial reports by taking relevant site measurements and/or measuring from drawings as directed by line manager
