I bought this car in from Japan because it was really low mileage (106000 kms), in immaculate condition and maximum specification.
It was specially imported to Japan from Germany as a new car.
That was about 6 years ago.
When the car came in, it was stored for a while before I registered it as I was living in Spain, this was supposed to be the final destination for the car. I had it fully inspected by an expert in Derby and was told the only issues were a bad earth and the ABS pump was intermittently faulty.
These jobs were completed and the car was MOT'd and registered.
This happened just before Covid and I couldn't travel back to the UK to get the car, so it was supposed to be stored by my friend in his unit. But he left the car outside his unit not inside.
Fast forward to now, I'm currently back in the UK and the car has been sitting around for the best part of four years doing nothing.
So, it needs recommissioning. I put it through an MOT in April this year (well, my friend who was storing it did) and it failed on a list, but nothing drastic.
The restricted performance light is on, as is the ABS light again, like I said the pump is new, so it can't be that.
Being a Jap car it has quite a few upgrades, the suspension is quite low and it rides on deep dish 19" alloy wheels, they look amazing.
Good bits.
Very rare and hard to find Left hand drive car.
Legendary supercharged V8, 400BHP ish.
Drove beautifully before storage, didn't miss a beat and flew!
Top spec long wheel base with individual rear seats & walnut picnic tables.
Can't get any lower in price than they are right now, a classis in the making?
Super rare Daimler luxury version.
Bits needing attention.
Roof lacquer is dull and peeling in places.
Needs jobs doing for MOT
ABS light on
Restricted performance light on
Seats tired and have threads split in places (again from storage)
Bonnet repair has cracked (will supply new bonnet with car)
To summarise, considering the cheapest left hand drive one of these with anywhere near this low a mileage is 25,000 euros, this could be a great project for someone.
I have so little time right now as I'm prepping my house for sale.
Will listen to part exchange offers, what do you have?
