Land Rover Series 3 - Early Suffix A Chassis number - Tax & Mot Exempt Starting from the bare chassis some small repairs were carried out before stone chip blacking the entire chassis and then liquid cavity waxing the inside to prevent future rusting. This is genuinely the best original chassis I've ever seen and this is why the decision was made to keep it, if looked after properly it will last forever. Driveline: Engine has had a full major service all belts/tensioners, glow plugs, oil and filter, diesel filter (entire system drained and cleaned), fuel tank sender unit, coolant, sump gasket, rocker gasket, crankshaft seals, engine mounts, exhaust, alternator, battery, all new radiator hoses and heater matrix. Gearbox has had new mounts, reverse gate springs, handbrake shoes and seals, both oils, sump gasket and sealing washer, complete 3 piece clutch kit, slave and master cylinder including a new flexi line and fluid. Axels have had all new seals, oils, hub caps, front swivels. Suspension and steering: New parabolic springs, shock absorbers, ball joints all round, original size 7.50 all terrain tyres Braking system: New master cylinder, flexi lines, copper lines, retaining clips, wheel cylinders x4, shoes x4, tension springs all round. Body: Full professional body shop repaint in original colours of pastel green and limestone. New inner wings x 2, dome lights, headlights, number plates, door seals, door tops x 2 including window runners and hardware. Windscreen seals, wiper arms, washer jets & bottle wiper motor, hardtop seals, tailgate and catflap seals, fixed window rubbers, bulkhead vent seals, bonnet bushes, rear tub rubber mounts, door hinges with gaskets and hardware x4, locks and barrels all round and all new bolts etc. Interior: Original seats recovered and sit on original adjustable seat bases, dash recovered and all electrics work as should. Carpet kit, removable mats and door cards fitted, which finishes the interior really well. Rubber load mat to rear. New lap belts & interior mirror. This is an outstanding restoration, which has been done with great care and attention to detail. I did plan to keep it but due to space restrictions this is no longer possible. Green.
