This is a solid, but tatty, T5 for general use and enjoyment. Would tidy up nicely if you could source a wing in the same green to get rid of the dent in it. I'm using it daily at the moment. It does regular journeys to Coventry and never misses a beat. It's been invaluable for tip runs and moving furniture during a recent house move (which helps to explain why it's cosmetically not the best inside). I'm selling because I want something less thirsty - a fast Swedish diesel or LPG estate, ideally, with several potential purchases already identified.

It flew through its last MOT in March with just one advisory, for the steering rack. Reg is L110EPJ if you fancy a look. It had welding last year but now that's been sorted it's structurally solid with very little corrosion underneath and all mechanicals in good nick.

All the electrics work, apart from the gearbox mode button. Happily, it's stuck in sport. You don't buy one of these for the economy anyway. Oh, and the odometer hasn't worked in years and years. It's actually north of 190k miles according to the last OBD1 reading. Finally, it can idle a touch roughly from cold for 15 seconds or so and can smell a bit petrol-y (which is a common issue on ageing Volvos - it went through the MOT like that and economy is about as rubbish as ever).

It's on the North Tyneside coast and I live close to a Metro stop. Come for a day out, have some chips, go on the beach then drive home in supreme comfort and speed with ice cold air con and stereo blasting out. Lovely!
