We are seeking an accomplished and sharp-minded Chief Technical Officer for the high-profile role of leading the planning, organising, and directing of IWF's Technical activities, including core operations of Security, Quality Assurance and Technical Services. The Chief Technical Officer will work closely with the CEO and other members of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), particularly the Hotline Director and Board of Directors.
Who we are
The IWF is the global expert body for tackling child sexual abuse images on the internet, wherever they are hosted in the world. Real children are abused and affected for life when images of their abuse are created and shared online. Eliminating them is our mission.
From our office in Cambridge, UK, we provide citizens in the UK and 42 other countries with a safe place to anonymously report online child sexual abuse. We work through our membership community of international internet companies, in collaboration with 51 hotlines in 45 countries, and together with our law enforcement and government partners globally to fight the problem.
Internet companies are being asked to demonstrate their leadership in creating a safer online world. Those companies who are IWF Members not only fund our work, they also use our valuable services to safeguard their networks; disrupting the sharing, hosting, and sale of images of children being sexually abused.
