I am selling my old family car owned for more than 10 years. I bought a newer Octavia Laurin And Klement.
This car has been equipped with lots of extras.
181198 miles.
MOT until February 2024 (in 2016 at MOT they registered in KM not Mile, however it apears as miles).
Next cambelt change to be in end of 2024 or at 239398 miles.
As a qualified car mechanic, I did all the servicing since 2015 and no stamps from that time. Next service to be 10/12/2023 or at 186921 miles.
New front tyres, but the rear once are good too. (Good wheel alignment, front tyres can be used for more than 2 years, rear once more than 4 years can be used, depends on use and drive style)
In the last 12 months more new parts were fitted, as I had a Euro trip. New Air-condition Pump and re-gas, one new brake calliper, new coolant bottle, New Valeo Clutch Master Cylinder, New Glow Plugs and couple of other bits.
It is a reliable car; however, it is a 16 years old car.
The battery is 5 years old, so it might need to be changed, but it is still starting the engine. (At cold starts you can feel the old battery).
The carpet on the top, came off, so I had to use press studs to fix it, as gluing last only 2 weeks. Check image.
Everything works on the car as far as I know. I tested most of the things.
There are some tiny scratches, related to age, but nothing major.
Gearbox works fine, engine runs good at this age. Consume is good, quite economical. Very low insurance (for me).
I keep my insurance and road tax on it till I sell, so we can have a test drive.
The leather seats have some crack lines and on some places lost the good colour coverage.
