My client in Worcester is currently in need of a Sales Engineer due to expansion.

My client is an internationally respected company delivering design & manufacture Test Solutions for new generation Engine / EV, power train, vehicle and component test. Due to the continued growth & expansion of the business internationally they are looking for experienced candidates to join their expanding Sales & Applications department.

The Purpose of the Role:

To develop & expand existing client base, establishing a value-added proposition to build long term client relationships, that provides technical and commercial support, culminating in developing new business for the company both UK and internationally.

Ideally you will have a proven track record in our industry sector or be from a similar capital equipment background looking to develop your career from an Industrial or automotive background, having an understanding of component, Power Train and EV testing would be an advantage.

Duties:

* Your role will be to provide technical advice to both customers and your sales colleagues across the business which in turn should build strong internal and external relationships.

* Development of Technical Proposals and quotations to meet client requirements.

* Based out of the head office, you will be required to travel throughout the UK and travel overseas for client enquiry meeting with your colleagues in the locality, providing technical support to assist with the closing of deals.

* Presentation and Communication skills are essential to success in this role.

You will be involved in providing presentations on the business and demonstrating equipment to new prospective customers.

Personal Characteristics & Skills:

* Ability to plan and self organise.

* Qualifications HNC / HND / degree level in a engineering/technical discipline.

* Min 2/3 years experience.

* Technically-minded with a solution-driven work ethic.

* Resilience & excellent communication skills both verbal & written.

* Consistently deliver to tight deadlines .

* A passion for Sales and drive to achieve.

* Focused with the ability to work on own initiative.

Experience:

Salary: £45,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
