As we expand our team, we are looking for a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join us in delivering top-notch engineering solutions. The role will be working across the Anglian water area: Scunthorpe down past Norwich.

Salary details & package

* Permanent, full time, Monday - Friday

* Company van and fuel card

About the Job:

As a Mechanical Fitter, you will be an integral part of our team, responsible for various tasks that ensure the reliability and functionality of mechanical equipment. Your duties will include:

* Performing planned preventative maintenance (PPM) tasks.

* Conducting general mechanical duties.

* Installing mechanical equipment, including screw pumps, motors, gearboxes, and bearings.

* Fitting steel support systems to facilitate equipment installations.

* Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical equipment faults.

* Undertaking varied tasks and occasionally assisting Electricians or Civil Engineers.

* Willingness to travel away from home when necessary (typically Monday-Friday with occasional weekends).

* Implementing and adhering to the company's health and safety policies and procedures.

* Understanding and complying with Control of Pre-Construction Information (CPCI), Risk Assessments, and Safe Systems of Work.

* Prioritizing safety by adhering to health and safety requirements on-site, ensuring the well-being of yourself and your colleagues at all times.

About You:

We are looking for a candidate who meets the following qualifications and requirements:

* Mechanical Technician / Fitting experience

* Mechanical mind, someone who can take things apart and put them back together.

* Good with hand tools

* Training and certificates are not required but can be offered to the right candidate: Confined space / CSCS etc.

* Experience of Sewerage / Waste Water sites would be beneficial, however is not required.
