Site Engineer - Central Belt

Boyd Recruitment are recruiting and experienced Site Engineer for our client who operates across multiple civil engineering disciplines in Scotland.

Due to a number of recent contract wins, they are expanding their team and the ideal candidate will have substation experience setting out.

WI-1 or SR3 would be beneficial but training can be provided.

The Job

As Site Engineer, you will work with the engineering team supporting the delivery of the projects on time and within budget whilst still maintaining the highest quality of service

Setting Out of works.

Checking plans, drawings, and quantities for accuracy of calculations.

Highlight any discrepancies with the drawings.

Overseeing quality control and health and safety matters on site.

Supporting the Site Manager, and any other site engineering duties as required.

Monitoring progress and performance and reporting to Site Manager.

Administration and recording keeping of Quality Assurance systems on site.

The Candidate

The successful Site Engineer will have previous experience in a similar role.

Minimum of HNC level qualification or equivalent in civil engineering.

Flexible in your approach and able to work on your own initiative.

Previous setting out experience is essential
