These are key training roles to help us to be a successful Council with the implementation of new systems, improvement, transformation and redesign of services.
To do this we need to be able to deliver successful change at pace.

The Council has recently concluded a procurement exercise for a new Children's Social Care System and we are very excited about the new contract with Liquidlogic. This is the core case management system, which we believe, will help and support the service delivery to our partners and more importantly, our service users.
We are confident that the new system will be a catalyst for helping us to do things differently, through the use of new technology. As a result, we are looking for 3 x System Implementation Support Officers to work within the Liquidlogic Implementation Project Team.
The System Implementation Support Officers will take a proactive role within the core Project Team in driving forward implementing change within the Council's Children's Service by training multi End Users on how to gain the greatest benefit from the new system.
These are rewarding and challenging roles, requiring a positive and flexible attitude. Successful candidates will be involved with designing, developing and delivering complex system training to staff at all levels across the organisation.
The role requires excellent people skills, understanding why and how people react to learning and employing appropriate strategies to ensure all users are competent in the use of the system.
It is expected that the suitable candidate will have the following knowledge and skills:
Level 4 Qualification in Training or an equivalent level of competency demonstrated through relevant work experience.
Understanding of effective training techniques and how to identify training needs
Practical experience of delivering group training to staff at all level
Ability to facilitate remote learning
Practical experience of IT applications configuration.
These are temporary full-time positions for 6 months, with the possibility to extend.
