For sale is my Mercedes S320 petrol W220 (2002) in rare Aragonite blue colour. Well maintained example and has been my daily driver for the past 2 years (almost). I have spend a lot of time and money on this car and it is really sad to see it go but due to having another car now I cannot justify keeping this.

The good bits:
-The car has 2 Original Mercedes Keys and full-service History at Mercedes Benz of Grimsby up until 24/04/2018. I also have various receipts and MOT’s and service history up to date thereafter which will be provided with the car.
-In the sale I will also include a spare alloy (matching) wheel with tire in addition to the spare one in the boot.
-Mileage is 115000 - Nothing for these naturally aspirated engines which if maintained they can easily reach 300000 miles or even more. Might go up slightly as I am still using it.
-Air suspension works as it should and the vehicle can be raised if needed
-HPI Clear
-Drives and handles like a dream. Double glazing windows so no wind noise in the cabin whatsoever.
-Electric adjustable seats all working as it should
-Interior is near mint and seats are really nice, clean and comfy
-MOT’d until 23 October 2023
-Ice cold A/C
-Drilled front brake discs
-ULEZ compliant

New SKF lower ball joint on the front left 22/03/2022
New headlight bulbs (Bosch) – 23/10/2022
New Febi wishbone suspension arm (Left) 22/03/2022
Engine oil and oil filter changed 04/11/2022 (Mobil oil + Bosch oil filter) – Last service
New SKF inner tie rod on the left with new boot 22/03/2022
New Delphi outer tie rod (left) 22/03/2022
New Febi brake light switch 12/03/2022
Alternator belt and new belt pulley (Gates) 25/02/2022
New outer tie rod (Delphi) driver’s side 22/10/2021
New (Energizer) key batteries 07/10/2021
New Varta H3 battery 27/05/2022
New charcoal filters 15/10/2021
New Mahle engine air filters 08/10/2021
Both front headlights have been polished
New Delphi rear stabilizer links (Left & Right) 18/03/2023

The bad bits:
-Handbrake shoes on driver’s side have been removed as one of the shoe springs has failed. I have decided to sell the car as I already have another car and this is now surplus. Brake shoes will be supplied in the sale.
-On the dash (when the engine is running) there is a message ‘entrance position do not drive!’. This has happened when the battery went flat (before changing to the new Varta) however the car drives as it should and I have been driving it like this for the past 14 months with no issues.
-Sunroof is not working (stuck)
-Radio loses signal when the vehicle is moving. I have been using an FM transmitter thus did not bother to fix.
-Wheels arches are rusty (common on these) but paintwork is generally okay
-Slight oil leak from rocker covers – I have always checked the oil and it never really made a difference in the oil levels hence did not bother to replace the gasket as is not bad at all.

Selling as a running project – You won’t find a better example at this price

All in all, it’s a great car - just needs some love

Can be viewed and collected at CV3 – Coventry center - No part exchange as I have another car

Payment method: Bank transfer on collection
