Site Manager Shop Fitting

John Worth Group is a growing family business looking for experienced Site Manager for our Shopfitters nationwide business, we are looking to recruit on either a PAYE or self-employed basis.

For most of our clients we deliver quick turnover refurbishment of retail units.

You will be fully responsible for managing construction projects on site from start to finish, safely, on programme and within budget.

This will be a mixture of working and non working site manager role.

Experience

* Must have at least 5-years experience within the shopfitting sector and be competent in carrying out a variety of works to include, stud walls, suspended ceilings, installing display unitary, doors, frames, architraves and skirtings etc.

* Will have a minimum of 1-Years experience as a Site Manager

* Will have extensive knowledge of Health and Safety within the construction industry and be able to enforce H+S law and company policies on site.

* NVQ Joinery/Carpentry or equivalent is preferred.

* Ability to deliver the project on time.

* Excellent communication skills

* Ability to work under time constraint pressure.

* Ability to read and understand technical drawings/ specifications.

* Excellent attention to detail.

* Excellent problem skills.

* Will be able to deal directly with the client and Project Manager in a helpful professional manner.

* Will up hold High quality standards on site.

* Will be able to follow/ manage and accelerate construction programmes.

* Will be willing to travel and work away frequently.

* Will be willing to work weekends where required.

* Will be reliable and punctual.

* Must provide your own tools.

To work on our sites, we require the following (this can be obtained once you have accepted the position):

* Full UK driving licence

* CSCS card (management level)

* First aid training certificate

* SMSTS training certificate

* IPAF training certificate

* PASMA training certificate

* Asbestos awareness training

* Fire Marshall

Location: Mostly working away on customer sites throughout the UK.

Hours: Monday to Friday typically, although some weekend working. 40 hours basic and 20 hours overtime.
