Senior Bridge Design Engineer
Location: Redhill
Position: Senior Bridge Design Engineer reporting to an Associate Director
To ensure the continued success of the infrastructure team our clients seek a technically-sound Bridge / Civil Structures Engineer to assist the Redhill team to grow due to the ongoing and increased workload.
Job Description
The role in the Redhill office will involve bridge, temporary works and civil structural design and assessment, capturing the technical quality and content prior to issuing to the client by supervising and assisting others in accordance with senior management requirements.
The role of the Senior Engineer will include but not limited to the following:
· Deliver quality technical design, assessment and inspection reports in line with National Standards and the client specific brief.
· Promote where applicable innovative solutions, and
· Ensure full compliance with health and safety requirements.
Key requirements
· Relevant degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
· Minimum of three years relevant UK experience in bridge design.
· Ability to write sound technical reports.
· Ability to self-manage and support the team.
· Ability and awareness of relevant bridge and Structural design software.
· Ability to design in major materials including RC, Steel, masonry and timber.
· Temporary works experience preferred.
· Rail/Highway experience preferred.
