Job Description:

As a CNC Lathe Programmer, you will play a crucial role in our manufacturing process by programming and operating CNC lathes with Mazak controls. Your primary responsibility will be to convert technical drawings and specifications into efficient CNC programs to produce high-quality components. You will collaborate closely with our engineering and production teams to ensure optimal machining processes, accuracy, and timely delivery of finished products.

Responsibilities:

* Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to develop CNC programs for Mazak controlled lathes.

* Set up and operate CNC lathes, including tooling, workpiece loading, and machine calibration.

* Conduct comprehensive tooling selection and optimization for different materials and machining operations.

* Perform quality checks using precision measuring instruments to ensure adherence to specifications and maintain high levels of accuracy.

* Troubleshoot and debug CNC programs to optimize machining processes and minimize production downtime.

* Collaborate with engineers and production staff to continuously improve manufacturing processes, efficiency, and productivity.

* Maintain a safe and organized work environment, following all company policies and procedures.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a CNC Lathe Programmer, specifically with Mazak controls.

Proficient in programming, setting up, and operating CNC lathes.

Strong knowledge of Mazak control systems and G-code programming language.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.

Skilled in tool selection, workpiece setup, and machine calibration.

Experience with precision measuring instruments for quality checks.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.

Relevant technical certifications or qualifications are a plus.
