Due to recent growth we're seeking a Practice Services Manager to develop the delivery capability of all Consultants within our Technology Transformation Practice specifically around the Agile and SAFe skill-set. You'll work with all ECS Practice Heads to ensure that skills and capabilities within the Practice meet the needs of their ongoing proposition development.
You will be responsible for on-boarding, performance management, coaching and training and ensuring that we have the right consultants in the right place at the right time.
You'll ideally have a background working within IT Consultancy/Professional Services or similar, and have a broad understanding of Digital Transformation delivery frameworks, specifically around the Customer Experience, Cloud and DevOps areas.

The role:
Ensuring the ongoing capability of the TT Practice to supporting the wider ECS go to market propositions and strategies within the Data, Digital Engineering, Customer Experience, Cloud and Cost Optimisation Practices.
Ability to articulate this to staff within the Practice to enable training, education and skills development to be delivered to meet current and future personal and wider business requirements.
Work with leaders in the TT Practice to ensure the Agile/SAFe capability within the TT Practice is fit for purpose and will support the go to market propositions of other Practices and apply lessons learned from previous client engagements.
Manage budget spend for training ensuring ROI measures are in place.
Responsible for all agreed weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting to Senior Management to ensure Practice people-based KPI's are met.
Responsible for organising and budgeting for Practice and social events as required.
Responsible for all people management activities from induction through to training, development and ongoing management in line with staff policies and procedures.
Provide coaching and mentoring to staff at both an individual and at a group level where appropriate.
Ensure all professional qualifications are current and aligned to Practice strategy.
Monitor Pre-Employment Screening (PES) status of all members of the Practice and make sure that it is up to date.
About you (ideally):
Deep experience working within an Agile/SAFe environment with an understanding the roles and way of working.
Experience in delivering fixed cost software projects.
Strong Coaching experience with both individuals and teams on best practice with a variety of roles in the Agile family, such as Release Train Engineers, Product Managers, Scrum Masters etc.
Able to quickly understand ECS's technology landscape, technology partners and all Practice go to market propositions
Able to build and develop the Agile/SAFe capability to support the go to market practices
Experience in developing and managing people, including remote management, (preferably gained within an IT Services Organisation).
Experience in managing the wellbeing of people, face to face and remotely.
Experience in candidate selection and on-boarding.
Ability to motivate staff and build communities at Practice level and beyond.
Experience of defining staffing requirement for outsourcing bids, from pre-sales through to successful implementation.
