Role Details:
This is a role which will heavily focus on Infrastructure as Code, automation and building and deploying cloud hosted apps from scratch, and at the same time needs someone who is willing and able to turn their hand to more traditional infrastructure and support projects internally within the business.
The role will be given a lot of autonomy, and will be the key SME on a variety of projects.
Technical Knowledge:
Microsoft Azure Cloud Services
ARM/Terraform templating
Powershell
Azure DevOps
Group policy/Active Directory/Windows Server
The Ideal Candidate:
A highly-skilled Ops Engineer who is equally at home with Infrastructure as Code, cloud-specific app development as they are in working on internal infrastructure projects. This could be a DevOps Engineer who has come from a more traditional infrastructure and support background. Any prior public sector or consultancy experience would be a bonus.
