Fawkes & Reece are aiding a renowned global contractor in their search for a Senior Quantity surveyor to join their Northern Division team on FAS2 which is Flood alleviation scheme based within Leeds. The contractor has been involved in projects ranging from Roads, rail , nuclear and with the water sector beginning to expand , this is the perfect opportunity to join their close-knit team and be apart of a widely recognised scheme.

They are looking for a Senior Quantity surveyor with experience in Heavy civils , Highways & water but if you have experience on a Flood alleviation project that is deemed a advantageous . The NEC options that are specific to this scheme is NEC 3 Option C but they are looking for a candidate with a good amount of experience , covering multiple options.

Some of your responsibilities are listed but not limited to:

-Responsible for accurate reporting of commercial results of a portfolio of contracts across all levels of the profitability pillar
-Ability to work under own initiative in taking off quantities and taking and recording On Site Measurements
-Responsible for accurate completion and submission and agreement of final accounts
-Management of all contract commercial reporting and submission to relevant timescales
-Responsible for cost Management of the Contract
-Responsible for maximising revenue entitlement under the contract

In order to be successful, you must have relevant experience and/or equivalent qualifications and an understanding of civil engineering work as well as the different forms of contract that are associated within this work. You must also have strong IT skills and a Valid UK Driving License.
