Cost Estimator Sourcing and Procurement for International Infrastructure.

Our client works with large UK and international organisations sourcing and purchasing a wide variety of equipment. Project examples include hospitals, road construction, various buildings etc.

As the estimator, you will be responsible for delivering competitive estimation proposals in conjunction with the procurement manager (direct report).

Who our clients are looking for:

* Good knowledge of the construction industry and sourcing suppliers both in the UK and internationally

* Experienced in obtaining pricing for various packages relating to infrastructure e.g. MEP, HVAC, Civils

* Able to help clients develop their initial broad scopes of work into detailed bids

* Proficient in technically and commercially evaluating bids

* Confident in negotiating good prices and payment terms with potential suppliers

* Knowledge of incoterms (would be a plus) as they ship products across the world

* Additional languages such as French would be beneficial

* Strong excel skills (bid tabulations, pivot tables, VLOOKUP's)

* Experience in African or Middle Eastern infrastructure projects a big plus

* Broad technical knowledge - a background in civil engineering is favourable

* CIPS Qualification would be beneficial
