Skilled Aerospace Fitters
Industry: Manufacturing
Location: East Cowes, Isle of Wight
Hours: Standard hours 37 per week on shift basis
Days: Monday - Friday
Duration: Temporary ongoing to December 2023
Duties:
Working on a range of main and sub assemblies (jig and non-jig controlled) from detailed parts using appropriate assembly techniques, tools and fixtures. Read and understand processes and procedures to meet all required quality standards. Working on mechanical assemblies. Adherence to regulatory standards and customer specifications.
Experience:
Must have a minimum of 3 years fitting experience with a recognised industry related apprenticeship or NVQ 3 or City and Guilds 3 qualification. Must be able to read and understand drawings. Must be able to work well as part of a team or on own initiative.
Accommodation Allowance considered for mainland applicants.
Salary: £16.34 / £20.43 per hour worked, dependent on shift
