Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Shrewsbury. As a Quantity Surveyor you will play a crucial role in our projects, ensuring cost efficiency and effective financial management. Your expertise will directly impact our ability to deliver top-notch pumping solutions to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

* Perform cost estimation and budget management for various projects.

* Conduct cost analysis, risk assessment, and value engineering.

* Evaluate project specifications and drawings to identify potential cost savings and efficiencies.

* Prepare detailed bills of quantities and tender documents.

* Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure accurate cost control.

* Monitor project progress and financial performance, reporting on budget variations.

* Review and negotiate contracts and change orders.

* Maintain a thorough understanding of industry regulations and standards.

* Keep up-to-date with industry trends and innovations.

Qualifications and Experience:

* Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.

* Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably in the construction or engineering sector.

* Strong knowledge of cost estimation and financial analysis.

* Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

* Proficiency in industry-standard software such as Excel and project management tools.

* Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations.

* Professional accreditation, such as RICS, is a plus.
