We are currently seeking passionate and skilled Supply Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTAs) to join our team. As a supply HLTA, you'll have the opportunity to work in a variety of primary and secondary schools across Telford, supporting teaching and learning in diverse classroom environments.

As a Supply HLTA, you will play a crucial role in supporting teachers and students in delivering high-quality education. Your responsibilities will include providing classroom support, leading small group activities, and offering one-to-one assistance to students who require additional help. This is a flexible role where you can choose your own assignments based on your availability and preferences.

Key Responsibilities:

* Support teachers in delivering lessons and preparing learning materials.

* Lead small group activities and deliver pre-planned lessons under teacher guidance.

* Provide one-to-one support to students, including those with special educational needs.

* Assist with behaviour management and promote positive behaviour within the classroom.

* Build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.

* Contribute to student assessment and progress tracking.

* Undertake other duties as directed by school leadership.

Qualifications:

* Hold a relevant Level 4 qualification or equivalent, such as the HLTA qualification.

* Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or HLTA in a school setting.

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

* Good understanding of the UK National Curriculum.

* Flexibility, reliability, and adaptability.

* Valid DBS certificate registered with the Update Service or willingness to undergo a new check.
