Role: 2nd / 3rd Line Support Engineer
Location: Central Manchester
Salary: £38,000 - £40,000

A global Real Esate company in Central Manchester, are looking to add a technically sound 2nd /3rd Line Engineer to join their team.

The scope of an IT Technicians responsibilities varies. In some cases, the focus is solely on IT helpdesk support. In other cases, the focus can be on managing our third-party IT support providers who provide IT support and IT system implementation services to the business.

The successful candidate will provide support to an extensive system catalogue across a widespread site. Operating at a 2nd / 3rd line level, with a requirement to work in conjunction with the IT service desk. The successful candidate will play a key part in the smooth running of the IT infrastructure from network to server stack.

2nd / 3rd Line responsibilities

* Responsible for the IT helpdesk management for all IT related incidents across multiple

* locations and when necessary, escalating to the external third-party support partners.

* Assist in the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, upgrades, and support of the business IT software, systems, and equipment. This includes operating systems, servers, PCs, software apps, telephones, and peripherals.

* Providing IT advice and support when systems are being upgraded or installed, or

* when system migrations or system maintenances are being carried out.

* Assist in the research and Procurement of IT equipment including Dell and Apple hardware covering desktops, laptops, and telecoms.

Required Skills
- Microsoft Azure tenancy with Microsoft 365 Products, Apps, and Services
- FortiNet FortiGate and FortiSwitch devices and networks
- Microsoft SharePoint and Intune deployment and administration
- Video Conference technology focusing on MS Teams, Zoom, Logitech and Yealink products and services.
- Ubiquiti Unifi wireless access points and networks
