KS1 Teacher
Join anzuk education as we collaborate with a newly founded school in the heart of South Gloucestershire. This vibrant two-form entry primary school is proudly boasting 330 students (with intentions of expanding), and has recently earned an overall 'Good' rating from Ofsted, with two areas shining as 'Outstanding.' We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic KS1 teacher to join the team, could that be you?
Why this KS1 Teaching role?
The school is located in South Gloucestershire, a short distance from Cribbs Causeway
Purpose built building, with 14 classrooms, and 4 breakout spaces
Large outdoor space including an amphitheatre, full sized football pitch and netball court
Supportive senior leaders and staff team within the school and within the larger Academy Trust
Full time MAT cover contract until February 2025, with the school expanding, there is opportunities for this to go permanent
Paid to scale MPS/UPS
Bespoke training plans offered to enable you to deliver excellent outcomes and progress in your career
Commitment from senior leaders to reduce unnecessary workload so that you are able to focus on improving outcomes As a KS1 Teacher you will need to:
Develop and deliver engaging lessons for students
Cultivate a welcoming and secure classroom atmosphere that nurtures a sense of significance, respect, and enthusiasm among all students
Apply targeted behaviour management strategies specifically designed for the developmental stages of children in KS1
Maintain an Enhanced Child DBS with an update service subscription, or demonstrate the willingness to apply for one through anzuk
Hold a recognised teaching qualification such as QTS
Must hold the current and valid Right to Work in the UK
Be able to communicate effectively and have excellent classroom management Please note: a full registration with anzuk may be required for this role
