Job role: HGV Technician
Location: Stoke
Salary: £18.27 per hour + Bonus (£1K) + overtime
Hours: 6am to 3pm or 9am-6pm M-F
Shift: Early or Days (40 hrs)
Overtime: All paid at 1.5X

HGV Technician opportunity

My client, a well-established commercial vehicle fleet maintenance company is actively seeking to add 2 fully skilled, experienced and qualified HGV Technicians to their team in the Stoke depot. You will be working on a fleet of circa 150 vehicles (predominately DAF) to include some trailers / vans. Roles available due to increased workloads

HGV Technician duties will include

General servicing, repairs and maintenance
Vehicle inspections
Running defects
MOT preparation / presentation
Fault finding
Diagnostics

The successful HGV Technician should have

Industry recognised qualifications, either city & guilds or NVQ Level Three in HGV
Experience gained in a similar role
Diesel engine experience HGV Class 1 or 2 would be beneficial but certainly not essential
