CNC Operator WF11 8TB - Full time, permanent - £17 to £22 per hour
We are on the hunt for both CNC Millers and CNC Turners to join a family run business specialising in medium to heavy engineering services. Operating out of an organised, well established workshop with on-site gym facilities, the company have been going for over 35 years and are offering an exciting opportunity for a CNC Operators to join their team!
If you are an apprentice trained CNC Operator with experience in programming either Heidenhain or Fanuc controls, setting and operating machines then apply today!

The role and responsibilities;
- Setting, operating and programming CNC milling and/or turning machines
- Programming Heidenhain and/or Fanuc controls
- Have quality awareness and a keen eye for detail
- Turning metals to high tolerances
- Operating lathe/haas machines
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings and geometric tolerances
- Good punctuality and housekeeping skills
- Checking and inspecting parts
Experience required;
- Experience of working with castings, forgings, alloy and stainless steels
- Working up to 900mm in diameter and 3 metres in length
- Experience of working to ISO 9001 standards
- CAM software knowledge would be beneficial
- Conversant with modern machining methods
- Experience in live tool turning would be beneficial
