Electrical Bias Maintenance Engineer

8 hour shifts Monday to Friday (mornings, noons & nights)

Industry leading manufacturing experts, based in the Runcorn area have an exciting new opportunity for an Electrical Bias Maintenance Engineer to join their ever-expanding business on a permanent basis. This opportunity will allow the right candidate to develop, excel and make their own stamp within the organisation.

The Role:

Day to day, your key focus will be to carry out day to day maintenance tasks, site repairs and complete daily, weekly, and monthly PPM routines to achieve longevity of equipment. As part of the maintenance dept, you will also be expected to contribute ideas on developing the plant machinery and be part of the core implementation team of new plant and equipment. The maintenance engineer will support the operations team on ensuring the highest possible quality standards through well maintained equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

* Completion of production line breakdowns in a timely manner

* Assist in the implementation of an effective PPM system

* Completion of daily, weekly, and monthly PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance) routines.

* Ordering and control of replacement parts and critical spares.

* Ensuring of compliance to company H&S polices / procedures

* Have a direct involvement in new machine investments, working with contractors / suppliers on relevant projects

* Use shopfloor data to improve line uptime

Qualifications & Experience Required:

* Apprentice trained electrical engineer.

* Multi Skilled trained (preferred) - 60/40 bias electrical as a minimum.

* Knowledge of electrical control systems and PLC controlled equipment.

* Pneumatics and Hydraulics fault finding experience.
