I have an amazing opportunity for an electrical/electronics engineer who is looking for a new challenge within the engineer sector. My client based in Oldham, Greater Manchester is recruiting for a Sales Engineer as the current Sales Engineer is retiring after a long service.

This is an office-based role working only Monday to Friday, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining customer relationships, be responsible for estimates, quotations, and advice on products. I have previously placed ex military within the business and theyre looking for further ex-military to join their friendly team.

Sales Engineer Responsibilities:

* React to customer phone calls & emails, ensuring you respond promptly, ensuring exceptional customer service is always provided and client relationships are maintained.

* Can work closely with customers to understand their technical specifications.

* Liaise with suppliers to undertake sales estimates, generate quotations, and collaborate with other departments for production timescales.

* Ensure all documentation is up to date and adhere to all compliance and standards.

Sales Engineer Requirements:

* Must have an electrical or electronics background and have completed an apprenticeship.

* Ideally hold a HNC or HND or equivalent.

* The successful candidate must have a strong engineering / technical background.

* Be organised, results driven and can multitask.

* Strong communication skills.

* IT Literate, knowledge of Excel.

* Previous experience with ERP systems would be advantageous.

Sales Engineer Benefits:

* Attractive salary up to £49,500 depending on experience.

* Monday to Friday working week with early finish on Fridays.
