Responsibilities of a Chef include:
* Crafting diverse and nutritionally balanced menus tailored to accommodate dietary requirements and preferences.
* Supervising kitchen operations, overseeing food preparation, cooking, and service in collaboration with the kitchen team.
* Ensuring compliance with essential documentation, including adherence to COSHH and HACCP guidelines, company protocols for each service you attend, and managing procurement processes.
* Catering to special occasions and seasonal festivities, such as summer gatherings, holiday celebrations, and birthdays as necessary.
Person Specification for a Chef:
* Relevant food hygiene qualifications and Enhanced DBS
* Chef possessing an S/NVQ2 in Catering & Hospitality or Professional Cookery, along with a Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate, and proficiency in Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP).
* Full UK driving licence is advantageous
* Previous experience working with Elderly people in a nursing or residential environment is desirable
