Early Career Teachers - South Yorkshire

The Opportunity

* Day to day and longer-term bookings and assignments in the Doncaster and South Yorkshire areas offering immediate starts.

* Flexibility of working days and hours to suit your requirements ranging from a few days to full time.

* The chance to visit a variety of schools without committing to anything long-term.

* Competitive rates of pay from £130 per day.

Main Duties include:

* Delivery of pre-planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher in line with the national curriculum

* Thinking on your feet if required and producing planned lessons and activities.

* Assessing and tracking pupil progress and adapting teaching methods accordingly

* Create a positive, engaging, and safe learning environment.

* Communicate effectively with other teachers and support staff to provide consistency and high-quality lessons for the children/students.

* Maintaining of accurate records relating to attendance, behaviour, and progress

You will need:

* QTS Qualified Teacher Status

* Enhanced DBS

* Experience of teaching primary between EYF and year 6

* Knowledge of the national curriculum

* Effective behaviour management strategies and skills

* Commitment to ensuring all pupils achieve their full potential.

* Friendly and approachable manner

* Strong relationship building skills with colleagues, parents, outside bodies and of course the children.
