Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst
Location: Birmingham, West Midlands
Salary / Benefits £22k - £33k +Training +Benefits
Level of Experience: Trainee Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst through to Lead Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst

Profile: An expanding Environmental Business with an established Asbestos Department now seeks an experienced Asbestos Surveyor or Surveyor/ Analyst to join their friendly team. Mainly servicing larger Commercial and Industrial site bases across the Midlands the successful candidate will manage their own schedule and carry out more complex R&D surveys, working in teams where required and spending time to write reports and deliver advice. Consideration will also be given to candidates holding the P402 looking to gain further Pcert modules.
Applications will be considered from: Wolverhampton, Tamworth, Cannock, Stafford, Telford, Stourbridge, Kidderminster, Bromsgrove, Solihull, Coventry, Redditch, Worcester, Nuneaton, Hinkley, Walsall, Dudley.
Experience & Qualifications:
" Must hold the BOHS P402, P403, P404 (RSPH equivalent) qualification. Consideration also given to P402 Surveyors, as there is scope to undertake further BOHS module training.
" Will have experience working for an established Asbestos company.
" Will have excellent communication skills.
" Will be competent using TRACKER / Teams.
" Must be well versed in current Health and Safety guidelines.
The Role:
" Visiting client sites; to include Retail, Healthcare, Education and Government sites, carrying out management and R&D surveys.
" Working in teams on larger projects, carrying out larger and more complex surveys.
" Undertaking 4 Stage Clearances and carrying out Smoke, Background, Leak, Re-occupation, and Personal Air Testing.
" Issuing re-occupation certificates.
" Liaising with LARC's and ensuring safe working practices.
" Ensuring all work complies with relevant Health and Safety guidelines.
" Creating site specific reports using PDA /TRACKER/TEAMS systems.
" Building and maintaining excellent working relationships.
