My client is a global product-focused company geared to making a difference. They are looking for a Software Engineering Manager join their Bristol based Team on a 12 month fixed-term-contract.
As a Software Engineering Manager, you will be a key player in driving the development of the companys ground-breaking solutions. You will build scalable web applications in line with practices.
As part of a multi-disciplined team, you will be tasked with leading and mentoring a team of skilled software engineers, driving a culture of innovation and collaboration. As part of an Agile team, you will be tasked with developing enterprise, scalable web applications ensuring robust and efficient development environments.
As a Software Engineering Manager, you will have:
* Experience as a Software Engineering Manager with significant experience in delivering scalable web applications
* Experience of Microservices architecture
* Strong experience of AWS
* Strong familiarity with continuous integration and continuous delivery tooling, such as Jenkins, Git, Puppet, Docker
* Experience of designing and building scalable and robust software following best practices
As a Software Engineering Manager, you must have strong communication skills and a keen eye for detail. A passion for mentoring, technology and driving excellence is also key
