For: Service and Commissioning Engineer

Due to continued growth and extensive order book our world leading (in its industry) client has a fantastic opportunity available. The role is to work in the field using Mechanical and Electrical skills to commission machinery on site. This is a world-wide travelling role so you must be able to do extensive work away from home.

Job Purpose:

* Always represent The Company on site in a professional manner.

* Liaise with all departments to ensure the smooth running of the installation.

* Lead teams and react to situations.

* Health and Safety conscious always.

Responsibilities and Duties:

* Being part of the Projects and Service teams to commission, attend breakdowns, and service equipment.

* Working on PLC Programs

* Able to travel at short notice.

* Install Electrical and Mechanical equipment.

* Travel to Chesterfield and overseas

* Coordinate projects

* Provide technical support.

* Troubleshoot

* Perform service visits.

* Work weekends

* Book own travel.

Working with departments:

* Service Manager

* Engineering Team

* Service department

Qualifications / Experience:

* Electrical / Mechanical Engineering

* Demonstrable skills in Industrial installation

* Working in Engineering

* Read Technical drawings

* PLC programming skills

* Computer literate
